This book created by Kate Hubmayer was launched at the Food4Thought Gathering. I have to mention it as it has been given the thumbs up by my six year old son. Apparently it looks ‘awesome’ and he can’t wait to build bark boats complete with gumnut sailors, and to make his own rope. I have to agree with him, it will become a part of our school gardening program. Well done to Kate for having a vision then making it happen. First kids learn to have fun with nature, then they learn to love it, then they look after it.
